DPRK women footballers come first at 2026 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup
The DPRK players defeated the Japanese team 5:1.
Yu Jong Hyang kicked four goals in the match, scoring a hat trick.
The DPRK players won all the six matches from the group league matches to the finals and got a total of 36 goals.
At the victory ceremony, the trophy cup and gold medals were conferred on the women footballers who took the first place at the 2026 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup, the golden ball award and the golden boot award on Yu Jong Hyang, the golden glove award on Kim Son Gyong and the sports morals award on the DPRK team.
