"Sonyon" tractors presented
A meeting was held in the yard in front of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on the 5th for presenting the "Sonyon" tractors prepared by Children's Union members across the country through good-conduct movement with ardent patriotism on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.
Present there were Ju Chang Il, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, youth league officials, officials concerned, the participants in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union and schoolchildren in the city of Pyongyang.
Paek Un Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made an address of presentation and a certificate was handed over to an official in the field of agriculture, which was followed by speeches.
After the meeting, the "Sonyon" tractors left amid the warm send-off of schoolchildren.
