DPRK party and government delegation arrives in Beijing

The party and government delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of
Korea led by Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political
Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and
Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the
Cabinet of the DPRK, arrived in Beijing by private plane on the 10th to pay an official visit to China and take part in the
celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the conclusion of the Treaty on
Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the DPRK and
China.
The guard of honor of the Chinese People's Liberation Army lined up at the apron of airport where the national flags of the two countries were fluttering.
The delegation was warmly met by Wang Dongfeng, Vice-Chairman and Chief Secretary of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Wang Yajun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to the DPRK, Hwa Chunying, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, Ri Ryong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to China and his embassy staff members.
A Chinese child presented a bouquet to Pak Thae Song.
The delegation headed to the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse escorted by motorcycles.
