Innovations made in field of metallurgical industry
Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex has established a new production process to improve the quality of caustic lime, bettered some processes to reduce the pig iron production cost and fully solved the technical problems arising in operating the major production processes by conducting brisk mass technical innovation campaign, thus carrying out its third quarter year plan for the production of pig iron and rolled steel.
The Musan Mining Complex has intensively deployed mining equipment to the regions with rich deposits and made active use of advanced working methods while giving precedence to the stripping, boosting the concentrated iron ore production.
The Hungnam Electrode Factory has also overfulfilled its September plan by revitalizing the production while making effective use of the existing production base and taking measures to raise the actual output of products.
