Successes made in construction of minor power stations
The city set a goal to supply the necessary electric power on its own by using physiographical conditions of the region and is intensifying the planning and guidance for newly creating thousands of kilowatts of generating capacity.
It inaugurated Unit 10 of the Pukchon Power Station some days ago, substantially increasing the production of electric power needed for economic development of the region and improvement of the people's living. Now it is powerfully promoting the construction of Unit 9 of the Pukchon Power Station. On the other hand, Unit 11 of the Pukchon Power Station is nearing inauguration.
