The newly developed refractory can lower the norms for the consumption of materials per unit and greatly increase the life span of oxygen-blast furnace as it has high strength of materials and strong resistance to erosion by alkali, slag and molten iron. As a result, the number of workdays of the furnace drastically increased as against before, providing a sci-tech guarantee for remarkably boosting the iron production while reducing the consumption of energy.
The scientists make dynamic researches for proving the technical specifications and economic effectiveness of the new refractory in a short span of time while accelerating its field introduction in real earnest.
