Director Paek Son Sik talked about the work of his unit as follows:

The Academy of Agricultural Sciences also puts efforts into actively introducing the techniques of breeding and cultivating good strains of seed and advanced agricultural science and technology necessary for double cropping and applying them to reality. In addition, it continuously intensifies the work to change the grain production structure of the country and substantially promotes the research to solve the immediate scientific and technological problems arising in developing the vegetable production and animal husbandry.
