Teacher of Children
There is a woman at the Pyongyang Orphanage, who has been taking care of orphans for decades. The children intimately call her mother and granny.

She is Merited Teacher Choe Song Ran, Head of the Pyongyang Orphanage.
While working as the head of the orphanage for a long period, she has been guided by the instructions of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who called for looking after the children with parental feelings and bringing them up wonderfully during his visit to the Pyongyang Orphanage.
True to his instructions, she is devoting all her pure conscience to the upbringing, education and edification of the children.
It is said that her daily work starts with having a deep understanding of the children's breakfast, health conditions and mental change and taking necessary measures.

Choe Song Ran strongly demands the teachers take care of the children with maternal love and affection and induces them to prepare themselves as all-round educators with high qualifications and ability.
In those days, teachers of the orphanage set examples in the English education and the Taekwon-Do education and generalized them to the orphanages across the country.

Choe Song Ran is nearing 70. But she is still devoting all her wisdom and passion to the upbringing, education and edification of the children as their mother and teacher.
