Evening gala of schoolchildren takes place
An evening gala of schoolchildren took place in the yard before the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on Friday evening to celebrate the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.
It was enjoyed by Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Choe Tong Myong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and other senior officials of the Party and the government and officials of the youth league together with the participants in the celebrations of the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union and other schoolchildren.
It was also appreciated by members of the delegation of Korean schoolchildren in Japan on a visit to the socialist homeland to take part in the celebrations of June 6.
The evening gala started with the playing of the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" and the display of wonderful fireworks.
The participants in the evening gala showed changes of group formations and beautiful dance representing the dignified looks and daring spirit of the new generations who are vigorously growing into successors to the revolution flying high the flag of the Children's Union.
