The US Forces Command in the Republic of Korea on the 24th let loose a string of preposterous sophistry that the US-led joint military drill "Ulji Freedom Shield" in the Republic of Korea bordering our state is a "regular and defensive one that does not deal with a preemptive attack or offensive operations" and it is "not for preparing aggression but for strengthening deterrence".
