New photovoltaic power plants built in South Hamgyong Province
South Hamgyong Province successfully built system-parallel photovoltaic power plant on the bank of the Songchon River in the wake of the construction of the Soho and Tonghung photovoltaic power plants.
The province took practical measures in cooperation with the Intelligent Solar Cell Manufactory of Kim Il Sung University and stepped up technical preparations while strengthening the contact with the Pyongyang Power Design Institute under the Ministry of Electric Power Industry.
As a result, system-parallel photovoltaic power plants have been built in some areas.
The province is putting greater spurs to the development of natural energy on the basis of the successes.
