Floral baskets laid at Friendship Tower and cemeteries and tombs of martyrs of CPV









Floral baskets were laid before the Friendship Tower on the 25th on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the entry of the Chinese People's Volunteers into the Korean front.
Guards of honour of the Korean People’s Army were standing at the tower.
Present on the occasion were Kim Song Nam, Director of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials concerned.
Also on hand were Wang Yajun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, staff members of his embassy, the visiting delegation of veterans and families of martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers, Chinese guests staying in the DPRK, and Chinese students and emigrants.
The national anthems of the PRC and the DPRK were played.
Floral baskets were placed in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the Cabinet of the DPRK and in the name of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council of the PRC, the Central Military Commission of the CPC and the Central Military Commission of the PRC.
The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers before looking round the Friendship Tower.
That day, floral baskets were also laid before the cemeteries of the fallen soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers in the city of Anju and Hoechang County of South Phyongan Province and in the city of Kaesong, and the tombs of martyrs of the CPV in Hyongjesan District of Pyongyang and Onsong County of North Hamgyong Province.
