Press release on talks between FMs of DPRK and Russia
A press release on the talks between the Foreign Ministers of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation was made public in Moscow on the 27th.
It said:
Talks were held between Choe Son Hui, Foreign Minister of the DPRK, and Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, in Moscow on October 27 at the time when the strategic features of the relations between the two countries befitting allies are further consolidated and their might and viability powerfully demonstrated under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of the heads of state of the DPRK and Russia.
At the talks, they had a constructive and beneficial strategic communication with main stress on the result of the implementation of the top-level agreement reached between the heads of state, the plans for high-level visits and many-sided cooperation between the two countries and the diplomatic coordination of major pending international issues of mutual concern, and reached the consensus of views on all issues discussed.
Both sides admitted that the comradely friendship between the heads of state of the two countries serves as the most powerful motive force guaranteeing the solidity and future-oriented character of the development of the DPRK-Russia relations and reaffirmed their will to accelerate many-sided strengthening and development of the relations between the two countries under the strategic guidance of the highest level.
The Russian side expressed full support to the efforts and measures of the DPRK side to firmly defend the present position, security interests and sovereign rights of the sate, and the DPRK side expressed invariable sympathy with and support to all steps taken by the Russian side to remove the root cause of the Ukrainian dispute and attain the strategic goal of the special military operations.
