Talks held between delegates of KPA General Political Bureau and delegation of General Military and Political Bureau of Armed Forces of Russian Federation
Talks were held in Pyongyang on the 5th between the delegates of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army and the delegation of the General Military and Political Bureau of the Armed
Forces of the Russian Federation.
Present at the talks from the side of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were Pak Yong Il, Deputy Director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, and other leading personnel and from the opposite side were the delegation of the General Military and Political Bureau of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation led by Victor Goremuikin, Vice-Minister of Defence and Director of the Bureau, and members of the military attaches' department of the Russian embassy in the DPRK.
Discussed at the talks were issues for strengthening cooperation, exchanges and collaboration between the military and political organs according to the bilateral relations expanded and intensified under the strategic guidance of the heads of state of the two countries.
That evening, a reception was given in honour of the delegation of the General Military and Political Bureau of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
