General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of
Korea and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a message of greetings from Mishual Al Ahmad Al
Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, on December 22, 2025 on the occasion of the New
Year 2026.
The message said that it is a pleasure to send the warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency Kim Jong Un
and that the New Year would be a year when peace and stability
settle for the humanity and the welfare and prosperity of the world people are realized.
It wished His Excellency Kim Jong Un good health and hoped that the good relations between the two friendly countries and the two peoples would grow stronger.
