Reform of medical education system promoted
Detailed measures are taken to combine the theory and practice in medical education and create an environment for the students to acquire wide-ranging and profound knowledge.
Preparations are made to newly establish masters' class and class for training doctors of specialized departments at universities and colleges of medical sciences, the Academy of Medical Science and the national-level hospitals including the Pyongyang General Hospital.
In-service doctor training units are pushing ahead with the work to improve practical ability and qualification of teachers and taking practical measures to raise the ability of in-service medical workers.
