24th Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair opens
The 24th Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair opened under the theme of "For Common Development and Prosperity".
Presented to the fair were excellent goods produced with the introduction of advanced science and technology by more than 290 business firms and companies in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Russia, China, Mongolia, Switzerland and Thailand including the Korea Kaesong Koryo Insam Trading Company and the Korea Mangyong Trading Company.
Tens of thousands of goods of over 1,700 kinds in different fields such as electronic, machine and building materials industries, agriculture and public health are displayed at the Central Youth Hall and the Okryu Exhibition House.
There will be introduction of enterprises and explanation of goods for economic exchange and cooperation during the fair.
An opening ceremony was held at the Central Youth Hall on the 4th.
It was attended by Minister of External Economic Relations of the DPRK Yun Jong Ho, officials concerned, officials of the presenter-units, delegations of different countries and members of foreign diplomatic corps in the DPRK.
