DPRK women footballers back home
Players of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea returned home on the 19th after taking the first place at the 2026 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup held in China.
As it came off a victor this time, the DPRK team won a total of five trophy cups at the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup and was qualified to take part in the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
They were warmly greeted at the Pyongyang International Airport by senior officials of the Party and the government, sports officials, officials concerned, sportspeople and their families.
Working people and students welcomed the footballers in different places of the capital city, waving their hands.
