DPRK players return home
  The players of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea returned home on the 9th after taking part in the New Taipei Athletics Open 2026.
  The tournament brought together more than 600 men and women players from over 20 countries and regions including the DPRK, Taipei of China and Canada. Pak Sol Gyong set a new record of the tournament in the women's 5,000-metre race, winning a gold medal. Kang Ryon Hui took the first place in the women's 3,000-metre hurdle race.
  Kim Hye Song bagged a bronze medal in the women's 5,000-metre race.
  Officials in the field of sports and sportspeople greeted the players, who returned home after glorifying the honour of the country, at the Pyongyang International Airport.
