The report said the entire workers and other people across the country are making an all-out dash for carrying out the new five-year plan with the spirit and stamina of having pioneered the period of comprehensive development of socialism in response to the decisions adopted at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Party Central Committee, and continued:
All the sectors and units of the national economy, which rose up under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, have set goals of rapid advance breaking the ready-made ideas and are conducting a vigorous mass technical innovation movement. Amidst it, the overall industrial production has increased to 105 percent over the past 100 days since the Party Congress.
The proud successes made on all fronts of the economic construction are a clear proof of the indefatigable temperament and tenacious practical ability of the heroic workers who are vigorously opening up the new era of change with the might of loyalty and patriotism and self-reliance based on science and technology. The truth that no force in the world can check the vigorous advance of the great Korean people who are firm in ideology and powerful with science and technology and rallied manifoldly around the Party Central Committee has been kept in the hearts of all people as an immutable faith through the 100-day struggle of loyalty and patriotism, the report noted.
