DPRK Premier makes field survey of various units

Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the
Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the
Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made field
survey of the Samjiyon mountain tourist area under construction and the industrial establishments in the city of Hamhung.
Looking round various projects of the Samjiyon mountain tourist area which are being built according to the far-reaching plan and intention of the Party for the promotion of people's well-being, Premier Pak acquainted himself with the construction in detail and guided the meeting for review.
He visited the Ryongsong Machine Complex and stressed the need to constantly make new successes by simultaneously launching the production of ordered equipment of various kinds badly needed for different sectors of the national economy and the second-stage remodelling project.
At the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, he said the overhaul of various production processes should be done in a qualitative way ahead of schedule, fertilizer production normalized and irrational components technically upgraded.
Learning about the production situation of the Hungnam Pharmaceutical Factory, he told the officials of the factory to carry out the production plan for this year in all indices without fail.
Relevant issues were discussed and measures taken at meetings held on the spots.
