Myongsasimni Railway Station inaugurated
The Myongsasimni Railway Station has been built in a modern way, adding beauty to the landscape of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area.
The station with a total floor space of 7,000 square meters was built in a unique architectural style preserving the features of the coastal tourist city. It is a standard of local railway station built in a practical way conforming to the mission, function and service for tourist travel.
Its inaugural ceremony was held on the 27th.
Present there were Pak Hun, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet, Hwang Man Bok, Chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned and officials of railway transport sector, employees of the Myongsasimni Railway Station, builders, working people and youth and students in the province.
Kim Ha Gyu, Minister of Railways, made an inaugural address.
The speaker said that the station was wonderfully built under the energetic leadership of the Party Central Committee which spares nothing for the most civilized life of the people, regarding the people's laughter and happiness as the symbol of the socialist system and standard of estimating the national power.
He stressed that the station shows well the height of creation and civilization of the era of the Workers' Party that is making everything serve the well-being of the people.
He called upon all the officials and working people to fully discharge their responsibility and duty in the sacred struggle for the overall development of socialism of Korean style and the promotion of the people's well-being along the road indicated by the Ninth Congress of the Party, in hearty response to the idea and leadership of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un .
After the inaugural ceremony, the participants looked round the station.
