Greetings to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un from Lao President
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a message of greetings from Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on the 8th on the occasion of the 81st founding anniversary of the WPK.
The message said it is a great pride that over the past 81 years of strengthening of the WPK since it was founded, the government of the DPRK and the Korean people have firmly defended the gains of the revolution, achieved the political stability of the country, built modern defence and security forces and made great successes in the work for the economic development and the improvement of the people's living.
It expressed the firm belief that the Party, government and people of the DPRK would carry through the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress and achieve greater successes in defending the country and accomplishing the cause of building a powerful socialist country under the strong leadership of the WPK headed by Comrade Kim Jong Un.
The message highly appreciated the achievements made at the bilateral talks with Comrade Kim Jong Un during his official visit to the DPRK in 2025. It expressed a will to thoroughly implement the agreements reached at the talks by continuously cooperating with Comrade Kim Jong Un and the Party and government of the DPRK in the future and thus constantly develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties, two states and two peoples of Laos and the DPRK with a long tradition in the interests of the two peoples and contribute to the regional and global peace and stability, cooperation and development.
The message wished Comrade Kim Jong Un good health, happiness and successes in his noble cause.
